Netflix’s One Piece sailed to the top of the original streaming series rankings in its first week of release. Suits, meanwhile, maintained its grip on the top of the overall charts.
One Piece, a live-action adaptation of the beloved manga and anime, delivered 1.31 billion minutes of viewing in the United States for the week of Aug. 28-Sept. 3 (it premiered Aug. 31). It ranked first among original series in the weekly rankings, bumping Who Is Erin Carter? (1.02 billion minutes) from the top spot.
The 1.31 billion minutes for One Piece equates to 21.85 million hours of viewing in the U.S. — a little under 16 percent of the worldwide total Netflix reported in its own top 10 rankings for the week. (Nielsen and Netflix use different methods to calculate viewing time.)

Suits racked up another 2.45 billion minutes of viewing on Netflix and Peacock and remained the top overall title in the rankings for the 11th straight week. The legal drama tied Ozark for the most weeks at the overall No. 1 spot in the three-plus years of Nielsen’s streaming charts — though the latter did so over the course of several seasons, not consecutively.
The Wheel of Time, which began its second season Sept. 1 on Prime Video, moved back into the top 10 with 515 million minutes of viewing. Ahsoka fell off substantially from its premiere week, drawing 487 million minutes of watch time (versus 829 million for its premiere week). Paramount+’s Special Ops: Lioness (363 million minutes) made its top 10 debut for the week of its season finale.
Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences, not those in other countries. The top streaming titles for Aug. 28-Sept. 3 are below.
