Near the end of Paris Fashion Week, the crowd game was just as strong as if it were the first day. Outside the Miu Miu show on Oct. 3, an uproar broke out when Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton Rothschild stepped out of their cars in miniskirt ensembles. The same went for Adriana Lima, and even more so when Sydney Sweeney walked into the show wearing a black Miu Miu mini short set.
Among the names walking the runway were Gigi Hadid and Troye Sivan, with model hairstyles that Elle magazine described as “hangover hair.”
As the show started — with guests including Zaya Wade and Emma Chamberlain also sitting front row — sounds of a thunderstorm echoed throughout the building. On screens throughout the room, images designed by filmmaker-artist Sophia Al-Maria depicted a fictional woman, Grace, who fights her way martial-arts style through a multi-perspective dreamscape.

A ’90s high school movie mixed with prep school looks describes the collection. Polo shorts and the Miu Miu micro mini skirt and mini dresses are aplenty. Jackets galore from the label’s Harrington style to bomber-esque looks (like the one Hadid modeled) and oversized coats in lightweight material were also part of the mix. Gold is a dominant color in the collection, with shimmery pieces in the form of dresses and coats, skirts and jackets. One show-stopping look is the black sequined dress with shimmery gold flowers all over.
For the last day of Paris Fashion Week, which saw 67 brands mounting fashion shows and 107 labels presenting overall, Miuccia Prada and her team provided a youthful and fun cap to the proceedings.
