The 2023 North American leg of Taylor Swift‘s earthquake-inducing The Eras Tour ended in Mexico City — but fans can relive the experience starting today with the 12-time Grammy-winning superstar’s nearly three-hour concert film that premiered a day early.
Following last night’s star-studded premiere in Los Angeles that drew Beyoncé, Adam Sandler, Simu Liu, Julia Garner, Maren Morris and more, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour starts showing today — one day sooner than scheduled — at AMC and Cinemark theaters after presales earned over $100 million globally. Tickets for the concert movie are now available to buy online at Fandango.com, AMCtheatres.com and Cinemark.com, and its announcement even prompted other films to reschedule their theatrical release dates to avoid competing with Swifties, lest it spark another Ticketmaster-like snafu.

At last night’s premiere at The Grove in LA, Swift told the audience, “She shouted out those who worked on the postproduction and editing of the film, saying, “In my mind, it is the perfect capture of what this show was like for me.” Swift also thanked fans “for being so incredibly extra, I appreciate it more than you know. This night is like an extremely core memory for me, so you’re a part of it and I’m so grateful for that.” In one theater, the star sat with her backup singers to watch the movie, as the audience sang and danced along.
Swift’s four-night takeover of Foro Sol Stadium marked her first time heading shows in Mexico. The musician continues her Eras Tour in November when she heads to South America, followed by stops in Japan, Australia, Singapore, Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon and more dates across Europe in 2024. She’ll be back in North America in November 2024 when she performs in Canada.
Tickets to select overseas dates are still available on Ticketmaster, and Eras Tour tickets are also available to buy online at third-party resale sites including GameTime, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, StubHub, Ticket Liquidator and Ticket Network.
There were plenty of Hollywood Swifties at the singer’s shows in L.A., including Meghan Markle and Karlie Kloss. In Casamigos’ suite, attendees included Amy Adams, Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Paulson, Brie Larson, Zach Braff, Lupita Nyong’o, Darren Criss and Alexandra Daddario. Other stars spotted on Aug. 3 included Nina Dobrev and Emma Roberts with their hairstylist squad at Nine Zero One salon; Jesse Ferguson Tyler, Molly Shannon and Mindy Kaling (plus her dozens of friendship bracelets) among those seen separately in the VIP area; Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Jennie Garth, Ashley Tisdale and Jenna Dewan in the SoFi x People suite; plus Katie Couric, Taylor Lautner and Sofia Carson; among many more.

Swift, who will make her feature film directorial debut with Searchlight Pictures, in July announced additional international dates for her Eras Tour, which heads to the U.K., Europe and Asia in 2024. (Following last year’s botched ticket sales in the U.S. that sparked a lawsuit, Ticketmaster France in July inexplicably suspended online ticket presales for Swift’s Paris performances.)
And if all else fails, you can always throw on your stylish merch, make friendship bracelets, fill out your fan journal, watch your favorite celebrity Swiftie share scenes from the show on Instagram, and listen to the sound of thousands of dollars you didn’t give to Ticketmaster.
