Krysten Ritter has fallen down an all new rabbit hole in the first look at the AMC Networks’ anticipated spinoff, Orphan Black: Echoes.
The network released the minute-and-a-half trailer on Thursday during its panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and sees a disoriented Lucy (portrayed by Ritter) waking up to an unrecognizable near future. The original series is set in the same clone-filled universe as its critically acclaimed and fan-loved BBC America predecessor, Orphan Black, which starred Tatiana Maslany.
“What’s wrong with me?” Ritter’s Lucy can be seen asking. ”Why don’t I know who I am?”

The series is set to explore the scientific manipulation of human existence and will follow a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives while embarking on a journey that will both unravel the mystery of their identity and uncover a story of love and betrayal.
During the panel, it was also revealed that Rya Kihlstedt (A Teacher, One Mississippi) and James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry, The Dropout) have joined the cast as series regulars, with Reed Diamond (Better Call Saul, Mosquito Coast) set to will recur in season one as a guest star.
The series will air on AMC, AMC+ and BBC America and is expected to release sometime in 2024.
Along with a slew of other The Walking Dead universe news and an early screening of the season one finale of TWD’s Daryl Dixon spinoff, AMC also offered fans of Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire a look at the upcoming second season. That includes a peak at its new Claudia, Delainey Hayles, who replaced Avatar: The Way of the Water‘s Bailey Bass following the show’s season two renewal.
In the roughly three-minute scene, Jacob Anderson’s Louis De Point Du Lac and Assad Zaman’s Rashid pay a visit to the estate of the Le Croix family, to the deadly dismay of its residents. As Claudia ventures inside for a bite, Louis and Rashid casually discuss their dietary preferences and Claudia’s youthful predicament as terrified shrieks and shouts echo from the home behind them.
The series, which is currently in production on season two, also stars Sam Reid, Ben Daniels and Eric Bogosian. Rolin Jones, creator and showrunner, is credited as an executive producer alongside Mark Johnson, Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
