Disney’s Wish has been granted.
The trailer for Walt Disney Animation’s upcoming movie Wish has become the studio’s biggest trailer since the release of promotional spots for Frozen 2 in 2019.
The spot earned 66.5 million views across online platforms, according to the company. It surpassed the teaser trailer, which was released in April, by almost 20 million views and has quickly become the most viewed Disney trailer on TikTok to date.
The social media conversation saw praise for the original story, music, cute characters and dastardly villain.

Wish is the 62nd feature release from Disney Animation and comes as the studio celebrates its 100th anniversary. 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was its first feature. The movie even takes its cues from the early days to tell the story of wishing upon a star.
The musical comedy, which opens in U.S. theaters Nov. 22, follows 17-year old Asha, an idealist who makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force, a little ball of boundless energy called Star. That puts her into direct conflict with the ruler of her kingdom, King Magnifico, who sees himself as the only person who can dispense or hoard wishes.
The voice cast includes Ariana DeBose, who voices heroine Asha; Chris Pine, who lends his voice to the formidable King Magnifico; and Alan Tudyk, who brings to animated life Asha’s pet goat, Valentino.
Also on the roll call are Evan Peters, Harvey Guillén, Ramy Youssef, Niko Vargas, Natasha Rothwell, and Jennifer Kumiyama, among others.
